Dr. Mayer Eisenstein - You will be missed
Greetings,
A prominent figure in the anti-vaccine movement left our world this week.
Dr. Mayer Eisenstein died on Monday, Dec. 22nd. The news of his death spread quickly across the anti-vaccination & natural health groups.
Many didn't want to believe it & others were shocked that such a wonderful leader is gone.
We have to carry the message on that vaccines don't work & are dangerous for our kids.
RIP Mayer, you will be missed.

A Rebuttal for Upworthy
Greetings from Iowa,
It has been a crazy few months around here. We found out we're going to be grandparents come June. We're excited to say the least. I picked up the baby quilt to embroider today at Hobby Lobby. My daughter is getting married next summer. And I'm graduating from college come May. I think its going to be a super busy summer.
Now, lets get to the article.
Recently, the website upworthy.com published an article regarding Dr. Wakefield & his claim that vaccines cause autism. This article is defending that vaccines do not cause autism.

But what is the truth when it comes to vaccines & their connection to autism.
In 1999, a study by the U.K. Department of Health did a study that said vaccines don't cause autism. This stance has been maintained by the CDC that vaccines do not cause autism. Or do they?
Dr. Brian Hooker from California thru numerous requests has discovered thru the CDCs own documents that there is a vaccine-autism link. Over 100 requests were put in by Dr. Hooker thru the Freedom of Information Act which showed overwhelming evidence that there is a link.
Dr. David & Dr. Mark Geier discovered thru the Vaccine Safety Datalink that there is ample evidence that vaccines are linked to autism. The CDC held a special hearing whether or not to allow the Geier's access to the VSD as this is usually only available to CDC personnel & those who need to know.
Dr. Robert Johnson, Immunologist at the University of Colorado stated that he didn't want his grandson to get Thimerosal containing vaccines until they figured out what was going on.
Dr. Thomas Verstraeten analyzed the numbers in the Vaccine Safety Datalink & no matter how he ran the numbers the outcome was always the same. There is a link between vaccines & autism.
Dr. John Clements, World Health Organization stated that the results have to be handled even if the committee decides that there is no link. That he has to make sure that 100 million are vaccinated per year with Thimerosal containing vaccines.
Read that last paragraph again. A committee decided there was no link. Where is the science that says there is no link?
Something to think about is that the advisory committee to the CDC are stockholders in the big pharma. The more vaccines that are given the more money the vaccine manufacturers make the more money stock holders make. (The Vaccine Guide)
During this time, the CDC was hoping to do their own study that would show there is no link. Recently, the lead researcher for the CDC called Dr. Brian Hooker & talked about results being hidden from the public specifically parents. (starting at the 3:40 mark)
The article goes on to say that the study done in 2002 in Denmark showed no link. However, these results were reanalyzed. The results are beyond shocking. The study was reanalyzed by a Dr. Samy Suissa from Montreal, Canada found that The children who had had the MMR vaccination were 45% more likely to have developed autism than the children who had not had the MMR vaccination.
Even a ProVaccine Immunologists has admitted that vaccines are toxic & can overload the immune system. They only do vaccines during the first year to train parents that vaccines are needed for their children.
With 145 vaccines in development I have to wonder what future lies ahead for the children of our country & the world. We've seen the vaccine schedule explode between 1970 & 2012.
This chart shows how much money the government is making off of each vaccinated child.
Our government has also given almost $6 billion to vaccine manufacturers for development of vaccines.
Eli Lily introduced Thimerosal in 1920 & was used in many aspects of OTC medicine & vaccines. In 1931, Thimerosal was patented. In the late 30s, animal testing began & animals usually died within 24 hours of getting an injection with Thimerosal. Many childhood vaccines contained 50 mcg of this toxin. It was also during this time frame that aluminum was added to vaccines.
It was during the 30's that children were being diagnosed with autism. In the book Age of Autism, Dan Olmstead showed the link between mercury exposure & vaccines for this time frame.
In 1947, teething powders were given to kids that was laced with mercury. This was directly linked to Pinks disease that carried into subsequent generations.
In the 50s, Dr. Frank Engley determined Thimerosal was toxic to human tissue cells, proving that Thimerosal is more dangerous to healthy cells than bacteria. This discovery showed that the mercury in Thimerosal did more harm than good.
In 1967, a Pertussis vaccine was developed with .01% merthiolate. A rise in in mortality was observed as a result of this additive.

The 90's were the pivot point in our time line. It was during this time that a direct correlation was found between vaccines & autism. This information has been buried by the CDC, FDA, WHO & big pharma.
When did parents stop thinking for themselves & start doing their homework when it comes to their children?
The symptoms of autism & the symptoms of mercury poisoning are the same.
Monkeys who received the standard childrens vaccine schedule developed autism like symptoms. Even the MSDS sheet shows neurological disorders associated with Thimerosal.
A Stanford Scientist did a study & it showed that the aborted fetus cells in the MMR vaccine are a possible cause for autism. These cells are listed as human albumin, MRC-5 & WI-38 in the vaccine ingredients.
Dr. Wakefield never claimed that vaccines cause autism. He never did any invasive procedures. How many of my readers have actually read his paper? I have......a few times over. Here is a link for it -

As I've looked thru the vaccine ingredient list as provided by the CDC I only see trace amounts in a few of them. Does 25 mcg of mercury in the seasonal flu shot sound like a trace amount? According to EPA guidelines, you would have to weigh 550 lbs to get that much mercury at once.
Moms are a reliable source when it comes to their children. They are the ones who have seen their children disappear from their normal lives overnight. They are the ones who have watched their children who have met or exceeded their milestones & seen them disappear over night.
This article says that it relies on memories. Parents think back to when your kids were babies. Think back to the day they were born. How much do you remember? Do you remember how they behaved after birth? How you comforted them in those first few weeks after coming home so both of you could get some much needed sleep?
I've had 2 kids & I remember many of those "firsts" & how we got thru those first few weeks until us & baby got things figured out.
When I read this article, I was very angry. I've been to many seminars given by Dr. Wakefield & I've spoken to him in person a few times.
He has lost his country, his practice & his license. Its time to stop making him out to be a villian.

Totally different topic - A rant
Greetings from snowy & cold Iowa,
I work as a merchandiser in Central Iowa. This means I travel from store to store doing various kinds of things in various stores. Sometimes my work is relatively easy but other times it can be physically demanding. Tonight I came home from work stiff, sore & in a lot of pain from all of the lifting I did. I lifted over 25 boxes of books.
Now you're probably asking why am I ranting about books? I had to destroy about $1,000 in paperback books today. As a literature major I had some major issues with this. Just about every customer who saw what I was doing had problems with it as well. They were sad that they couldn't be donated or used in some way instead of just being thrown into the trash compactor.
Here are some pictures of what I had taken off the shelves before I had to start destroying them -
Over 10 boxes of destroyed books once everything was said & done. Such a waste.......
And a boxful of book covers. This is how the store gets credit for the destroyed books. It took me over 2 hours to tear the cover off of each one.
I can't say which store chain this is nor where this store is located. If you are an avid book reader like me & can't stand to see waste like this please talk to the store managers about not destroying books anymore.
There has to be a better way. With the holiday season upon us, it is a time of giving & doing good. Maybe the store can donate them to a homeless shelter or a youth shelter in the area. I'm sure there are school students as well that can't afford to have a book in their home that would love some books as well.

Greetings from sunny Iowa,
Warm & sunny skies greeted me this morning so I am very happy that semi warm weather has come back for awhile.
As I was browsing my Facebook feed last night someone posted a very interesting link on anti-vaccine facebook group. I felt that this webpage put out there by the CDC was the perfect blog topic.

Now, after reading thru this webpage what was the most common factor in each of those vaccines?
Here is that common factor -
- Anyone who has had a serious allergic reaction to a previous dose of "said vaccine" vaccine should not get another dose.
This is even being said about the Hepatitis B vaccine that is given to babies right after birth. How do they even know that they are going to be allergic to that vaccine until it is given? In many cases, babies have died after getting the Hep B vaccine & its chalked up to an underlying condition & not related to vaccine at all.
A strongly held belief by many parents is that if their child isn't feeling well is that their child shouldn't be vaccinated. I've ready many stories where a child wasn't feeling well when they went to the doctor & the doctor went ahead & vaccinated the child anyway. In some cases the child got more ill & sometimes even died. Again the vaccinations were not to blame.
But what does this CDC webpage say about this?
On the HiB, flu shots, Tetanus shots -
If you are not feeling well on the day of the shot that is scheduled you should wait.
Something else that is seen after a child gets vaccinated is the crying. Children crying non-stop after a vaccine has become the norm & acceptable in societies eyes.
The CDCs own vaccination information sheet says -
Some children should not get DTaP vaccine or should wait
- had a seizure or collapsed after a dose of DTaP,
- cried non-stop for 3 hours or more after a dose of DTaP,
- had a fever over 105°F after a dose of DTaP.
But yet when a parent calls into the doctors office & tells them that their child is convulsing, is crying non-stop & or has a high fever they are told that it is a normal reaction. Then when the next round of shots comes around it starts all over again.
As I was reading thru some of the vaccination information sheets, I came across this interesting fact on the MMRV (MMR & Varicella) sheet -
Children who got the first dose as MMRV have had more fevers and fever-related seizures (about 1 in 1,250) than children who got the first dose as separate shots of MMR and varicella vaccines on the same day (about 1 in 2,500).
I've read a few stories where moms of preemies were told that their babies could be vaccinated again Hep B. The CDCs own website says this -
Hepatitis B vaccination should be deferred for infants weighing less than >2,000 grams for Hepatitis B negative moms.
2,000 grams is about 4.4 pounds.
2,000 grams is about 4.4 pounds.
So as we read thru this information we see that there is conflict between what the doctor says is ok & what the CDC is saying.
We also see that the CDC shows that there are reactions to vaccines & sometimes very severe reactions. They say - As with all medications there could be reaction to it - sometimes death.
Yes, there is a risk of death when we are out walking, driving down the road, even taking our kids to school but they are nothing compared to having toxic substances injected into our body.
Ultimately, each parent needs to makes the decision that they feel is in the best interest of their child. I feel this doctor says it best -

Debunking Herd Immunity
Greetings from chilly Iowa,
Its not even mid September & we are under a frost advisory for tonight. This is something we don't usually see until the end of October or November. I have a feeling its going to be a long cold winter.
But onto our topic -
Herd immunity, we hear about this when the CDC & Paul Offit are worried about herd immunity rates going down because of so many parents opting to take advantage of their right to not vaccinate their kids.
Is herd immunity a fact or is it a myth?
A peer reviewed journal - the New England Journal of Medicine has said that herd immunity is a myth.
Lets start by taking a look at 2 different types of herds -
Which set of herds is healthier, the ones in the feedlot or the ones in a tree lined pasture? I lived out in the country for almost 5 years on a farm & across the driveway was a small lot filled with cows that were wading around in mud & feces up to their hocks that were constantly being shot up with antibiotics, I would say the cows in the tree lined pasture are healthier.
According to the CDC, you have to have 95% of the population up to date on their vaccines to have herd immunity. Now think back, have you had 30 vaccines in the last 10 years? How about 20 years? If not, you are not up to date. More than 50% of the population has been unprotected for decades. So, to start off most of the adult population is not up to date on their vaccines so that is a big bite in the "herd" immunity theory.
The concept of herd immunity came from when people would contract a disease naturally & would provide lifelong protection. This concept was then erroneously applied towards vaccine induced immunity. If vaccines do give a person immunity it is usually only for two to ten years. Not a lifelong immunity that getting a disease naturally would provide.
When we examine scientific literature vaccines only provide 30-40% immunity. This means that more than 60% of the population had no protection. This falls well below the required 95% that the CDC says is needed for "herd immunity."
According to the CDC, only 1% of U.S. kid haven't been immunized. So, how is herd immunity being compromised supposedly among kids?
Without the herd immunity theory to fear monger parents into getting their kids vaccinated the vaccination program would all but end.
The myth of herd immunity is pressuring many to be vaccinated against their will. But is there another reason why parents are being told that they have to get their kids up to date on their vaccines before entering school? How about a financial incentive?
In the State of Illinois unless a school system has a 90% vaccination rate among their students they will receive 10% less per student until the student population is brought into compliance.
How about the vaccines that shed? There is no herd immunity there. Vaccines that shed for at least 28 days are the MMR, Varicella (chicken pox), Rotateq, FluMist & the oral polio vaccine. They can shed thru the air, thru saliva & thru a persons elimination process.
We hear that vaccines have saved more lives than they have taken. The benefit-risk ratio is always acceptable until it happens to your child. If your child becomes autistic after a vaccine you have to care for that child physically & financially not the person that gave the vaccine. If your child dies after a vaccine you are the one who will be grieving not the person who gave the vaccine.
Quoting Dr. Wakefield from the 2014 Autism One conference - The benefits do NOT outweigh the risks of vaccines as the risks will vary from person to person.
Will you bow to the peer pressure or stand up & say no more......

A rebuttal for NOVA
Greetings from chilly Iowa,
I'm sure many of you watched NOVA's documentary on Vaccines Wednesday evening. As usual, it was very one sided & had to feature Paul Offit as their "expert" on vaccines.
I don't know about you but every time I saw his ugly mug on my TV I wanted to throw something at him.
As the documentary went on, I was typing up a rebuttal on their Facebook page. This turned into quite a long rebuttal that a few pro vaccinators have tried to refute but many support my opinion.
I would like to share with you my rebuttal to this one sided documentary -

Why was Offitt included in this
episode? He makes millions a year promoting vaccines. His vaccine
that he invented was recalled because of the deaths of babies that
received it.
What happened to reporting both sides
of the story? What about the toxins in vaccines? Like mercury
(still in there, even in trace amounts), aluminum, formaldehyde,
antifreeze.
