No shots, no school - NOT TRUE!

I pray that everyone is having restful weekend. Its hard to believe that it is August & almost time to head back to school. My daughter heads back to high school on Thursday & then we both start college on the 23rd. Its hard to believe that she'll be a senior this fall.

We hear the mantra every year, No shot-no school. The school systems & doctors fail to inform parents on their rights for opting out of vaccines for their kids. Many states like Washington, New Jersey & New York are trying to make it harder for parents to utitlize their rights as a parent & opt their kids out of the schools mandate.

Washington - You have to have a doctor sign on off on your religious exemption.

New York - a lawyer from the school system will grill you as to your religious beliefs against vaccinations. (search youtube videos, there are many videos that are nightmares on this)

New Jersey - Making it harder for parents who choose the religious exemption route also.

Currently there are only 2 states that only allow medical exemptions - West Virginia & Mississippi. There are parents in both states who are working hard to get another form of exemption allowed in their state. In the state of Mississippi, they believe its against the constitution to have a religious exemption.

There are 21 states that allow philosophical, religious & medical exemptions. A philosophical exemption means you personally believe that vaccines are wrong & do NOT want your child injected with toxic vaccines. Philosophical exemptions can thrown out at the drop of a hat if the lawmakers decide to disallow this form of exemption from vaccines. Its better to go with a religious exemption

There are 27 states that only have religious & medical exemptions. Many people will say "Our church doesn't say that vaccines are wrong." You do NOT have to belong to a religious organization that believes vaccines are wrong. You can a personal religious belief that you shouldn't inject vaccines into your body. Where is this "religious belief" in the bible? Lets start with Lev. 11, unclean animals, which ones we can eat & which ones we can't. Take a look at the ingredients in the vaccines themselves -

You can see all the different kinds of animal cells that in them - all unclean. There is your first religious exemption.

Your 2nd one is that a lot of vaccines contain aborted fetus cells. If you believe that life begins at conception & God tells us in the bible that he knew us before he formed us in the womb, then this is your 2nd religious objection. This website shows which vaccines contain aborted fetus cells -

Here is a map that shows the different exemptions in which states, something to take into consideration if you are moving from one state to another -

Many school nurses may provide you with paperwork to opt out if ask for it OR they may tell you they don't know about the exemption for your particular state. I've had the latter told to me & I had to show her the paperwork after I printed it off. Here is a link to a website that has the paperwork for all the state plus a few countries -

If you decide not to vaccinate from the birth of your child to now, many doctors will give you a sheet to sign. This sheet basically is telling the parent that you know the "risks" you are putting your child under by NOT vaccinating them. Don't sign it, as you are NOT putting your child at risk. If you are "forced" to sign the form, then put "under duress or coercion" you are signing the form.

If your doctor presents you with "his" form, then present this one to him/her.

No doctor will sign it as they can't guarantee anything.

Know your rights as a parent, know the laws for your state & be prepared to defend your decision for not vaccinating.

Many of you are saying, why not just homeschool? Many states require homeschooled kids to be up to date on their vaccinations also. If you decide to go this route, make sure you have your exemptions in place. Check with the homeschool director for your school district, they can tell you whether or not this is the case for your state or school district.

Have a good weekend & a great week.

Until next time,
